By creating an account or using RELAY, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully — they govern your use of a service that may hold your most important personal information.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RELAY ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the RELAY service at evereaseos.polsia.app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
RELAY is a digital legacy vault service that enables you to securely store account credentials, important documents, trusted contact information, and personal instructions. The service includes a heartbeat check-in system that notifies your designated trusted contacts if you do not check in within your configured interval plus a 48-hour grace period.
To use RELAY, you must:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Trial period: New accounts receive a 3-day free trial with full access to all vault features.
Subscription fee: After the trial period, continued access requires a subscription at $49.00 per month (USD).
Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any pricing changes via email.
Failed payments: If payment fails, we may suspend access to your vault until payment is resolved.
You agree not to use RELAY to:
You retain full ownership of all content you store in your vault. You grant RELAY a limited license to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you store. We are not responsible for the accuracy of legal documents, instructions, or account credentials you store.
By adding trusted contacts, you authorize RELAY to send notification emails to those individuals if you miss a scheduled check-in. You represent that you have the consent of your trusted contacts to share their email addresses with us for this purpose.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that results in temporary downtime. We will attempt to provide advance notice for planned maintenance.
In the event of extended downtime, your vault data is preserved and will be accessible once service is restored.
Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Use Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By you: You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all vault contents are scheduled for permanent deletion within 30 days.
By us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to our infrastructure. We will provide notice where practicable.
Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability and dispute resolution) do so.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RELAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS. IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE ERROR-FREE.
RELAY IS NOT A LAW FIRM AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE. THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL LEGAL, FINANCIAL, OR ESTATE PLANNING ADVICE.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
